Best Budget Multi-FX Units Named

Guitar & Bass Magazine have recently published a list of their favourite 'budget gear' available on the market today.
The top spot in the multi-effects category went to the Behringer V-Amp 2.
The V-Amp 2 comes loaded with 32 amp models, 15 speaker cabinet simulations and a wide range of effects (including chorus and delay).
Tap tempo controls plus an integrated chromatic tuner can also be found within the unit.
Guitar & Bass Magazine's reviewer praised the quality of the tones produced through the V-Amp 2, making this multi-effects unit seem even more impressive considering the low price tag.
"It's amazing bang for your buck, and you're bound to find several amp models that you like."
The second highest scoring multi-effects unit in this issue was the Zoom G1X.
As well as offering a wide range of amp simulations and a large number of effects, the G1X also has a built in drum machine.
What's more, the G1 series has been used by many pro guitarists in the past including John 5 who now plays for Rob Zombie, and Richie Sambora of Bon Jovi fame.
Guitar & Bass Magazine's reviewer commented that "the Zoom G1X's presets are excellent, allowing you to explore the incredible range of sounds and effects gradually. Quality stuff".
Other multi-effects units that made the short list include the Electro-Harmonix Holy Stain and the Line 6 Pocket Pod Express.
If you're looking for a guitar multi-effects unit that provide professional tone and versatility at a low price tag, then Behringer and Zoom seem to have delivered the goods.
