Beck collaborates with Stephen Malkmus
Guitar player Beck has teamed up with Pavement star Stephen Malkmus in the studio.
The pair worked together earlier this year ahead of Malkmus going back on tour with Pavement in a series of reunion gigs currently taking place around the world.
No definite plans have been announced for the release of any of the music recorded by the indie duo, but it is expected that fans will have to wait until 2011 due to Malkmus' current commitments with Pavement.
The band are due to start the UK leg of their tour tonight (May 10th 2010), in the first date of a four-night residency at the Brixton Academy in London.
Pavement will then play the All Tomorrow's Parties festival in Minehead on May 15th before moving on to tour the rest of Europe.
Meanwhile, Beck has penned tracks for the forthcoming Michael Cera movie Scott Pilgrim Vs The World.
