The recently released album is home to songs such as single Runaways, as well as such delights as From Here On Out, Flesh and Bone and Miss Atomic Bomb.
Brendan Flowers and his band – who are known to play music instruments – brought the record out on UK shores earlier this month, on the 17th.
Yesterday saw it hit number one in the album charts, according to the Official Charts Company.
The rest of the top five includes #3 by The Script (appropriately enough at number three itself this week) and Pink's The Truth About Love (which hit two).
The Killers will be touring around the UK soon and have several destinations on their itinerary for this trip. Among them are Newcastle, Aberdeen, London and Manchester.
Their previous long players include Day & Age and Hot Fuss, their debut.
