Basement Jaxx to tour the UK in November
The duo will play five shows starting at Leeds O2 Academy on November 28th before moving on to Manchester O2 Apollo (29th), Newcastle O2 Academy (December 1st), Birmingham O2 Academy (5th) finishing at London O2 Academy Brixton on December 6th.
Fans will be able to see the collective play their first new material in two years. The announcement comes just prior to the launch of their latest track Back 2 The Wild, which will be released on May 20th.
The song features Miss Emma Lee and Baby Chay, while the horns section were recorded in Kenya.
Basement Jaxx last released an album in 2009 with the launch of Zephyr and it is believed that the duo are planning on unveiling their seventh studio record later in the year.
Prior to the November and December tour, Basement Jaxx are scheduled to make their live return at Kendal Calling festival over July 26thand28th at Lowther Deer Park, Hackthorpe.
Tickets for the winter tour go on sale on May 10th at 09:00 BST.
