Babyshambles announce extensive UK tour
Pete Doherty and co will hit the road in the autumn months starting at Glasgow Barrowland on September 4th before moving on to the likes of Newcastle, Leeds, Manchester, London, Sheffield and Birmingham among others before finishing at Bournemouth O2 Academy on October 21st.
Fans will be hoping to hear new material from the band which have not released a record since 2007's Shotter's Nation represented the follow-up to Down in Albion which was launched in 2005.
It was reported earlier in the year that Doherty had teamed up with producer Stephen Street to start work on a new album. Street had been the man behind bringing Shotter's Nation to fruition in the past.
Bassist Drew McConnell told NME that the band had been playing sessions which were initially set for Doherty's new solo record but these will now be used to create Babyshambles' third studio album.
Tickets for the September and October tour go on sale on Friday May 3rd at 9am.
