Legendary Microphone and Headphone manufacturer Audio-Technica have announced that they will sponsor this year's keynote speech at the Art of Record Production conference 2010.
The conference which is held at Leeds Metropolitan University takes place between 3rd-5th December and will see legendary producer Steve Albini deliver the keynote speech.
Albini has worked with the likes of Nirvana, Pixies and PJ Harvey throughout his career and is estimated to have engineered between 1,500 to 2,000 albums during this time.
The Art of Record Production is a non-profit making organisation that frequently holds conferences in Music Technology and the area of Record Production.
Since 2005, the organisation has sought to combine a mix of academics and leading industry figures at its annual event.
This year, a total of around 65 delegates will submit papers to at least 100 academics from universities all over the world.
Other speakers at this year's conference include Paul Miller (DJ Spooky), Phil Harding (The Clash, PWL, Kylie) and Steve Parker (The Rolling Stones, Aretha Franklin).
Harvey Roberts, Audio-Technica senior UK marketing manager said, "We're delighted to lend our support to this year's Art of Record Production Conference."
"With Audio-Technica microphones and headphones in use by top producers around the world, our involvement with the event is a perfect fit with the creative professionals who will be visiting and speaking at the conference."
