Audio Technica mics used by the stars at Grammy Awards
A host of stars from the world of music made use of Audio Technica microphones at the recent Grammy Awards.
More than 150 microphones were supplied by the company for the prestigious event, which took place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on February 13th, reports MI-Pro.
Among the artists to use Audio Technica's Artist Elite 5,000 Series system were Bob Dylan, Bruno Mars and Esperanza Spalding.
Mumford and Sons and the Avett Brothers also made use the firm's musical equipment when they took to the stage.
Front-of-house engineer Ron Reeves said: "It's always a pleasure to see Audio Technica's team here at the Grammys, to provide both microphones and on-site support."
Among the big winners of the night at the ceremony were Lady Gaga and Jeff Beck, who picked up a trio of awards each.
Acts to be handed two prizes on the night included Jay-Z, Keith Urban, Alicia Keys and Herbie Hancock, as well as Eminem.
Indie stars Arcade Fire took home one of the most prestigious honours, winning the Album of the Year Grammy for The Surburbs and closing the show with a performance of Month Of May.
