Ashdown Limited Edition Little Bass Amp
Posted on 16 Apr 2010 09:09 to category : Instruments News

30 Watts of pure attitude, the Ashdown bass amp has become a favorite with bassists for its rich, warm sound, all tube design and surprising portability.
Rebellious, uncompromising and cool as funk, James Dean - and the car he nicknamed the Little Bastard - are the inspiration for this iconic, all-tube mini bass amp head.
Now there's a unique opportunity to own a very special, limited edition of this outstanding bass icon.
Only 100 Little Bastards are being hand-made in the UK, shipping with a Certificate of Authenticity personally signed by Ashdown's founder and Managing Director, Mark Gooday.
It is also signed by Dave Green, the Little Bastard's designer, accompanies each individually numbered amplifier.
The Little Bastard preamp stage employs ECC83 and ECC82 tubes and features High and Low gain inputs, front panel-mounted Effects Send and Return, rotary Bass and Middle and Treble controls with Mid Shift.
In addition there is Bass Shift and Bright switching, Mute switch, rotary Volume control and balanced DI output.
The Little Bastard head partners perfectly with a range of Ashdown US Series cabinets.
Rated at 30-Watts, the Little Bastard won't rip your head off, but its EL84-equipped power section is more than capable enough for small gigs.
With a height of 220mm, width of 400mm, depth of 225mm and a weight of 14kg the amp is portable but packs a punch with 30W power output.
