Arturia Gear Up For November Release of the DrumBrute
Containing 17 fully analog drum and percussion instruments, as well as two kicks, snare, clap, open and closed hats the Drum Brute is the ultimate in percussion sequencing. Also featured on the DrumBrute are high and low toms, conga, maracas and rim shots, making for a quintessentially versatile and dynamic device that can be applied in a number of different situations.
The devices primary output features a highly regarded two-mode Steiner-Parker filter, enabling the user to add dynamic frequency sweeps and jaw dropping bass drops. With each of these parameters the user can individually tweak and and alter the specifics to achieve their preferential tone.
Every component of DrumBrute's sequences contain upwards of 64 steps, enabling them to be chained together in a song mode. The DrumBrute prioritizes simplicity and practicality over unnecessary flash and complicated controls. Fans of earlier, vintage drum machines will feel perfectly at home with the simple controls of the DrumBrute.
As well offering a simple and user friendly layout the DrumBrute features in depth editing, letting the user get comfortable with the natural swing feature, arbitrarily alter their parameters, change up their rhythm, or add an accent on a particular beat.
The Drum Brute offers a number of dedicated audio outputs for each instrument channel, providing near limitless options for external processing and multi track recording. With a 3.5mm and 1/4" headphone outputs you can kiss your frantic search for adapters good-bye. Perfect for the road, DrumBrute features rugged housing, chunky pads, and wiggle-free knobs.
