Arctic Monkeys 'may work with Joshua Homme again'
Posted on 28th Feb 2010 09:00 to category Band / Celebrity News
Matt Helders, the man behind the drum kit in Arctic Monkeys, has revealed the band would like to work with Queens of the Stone Age frontman Joshua Homme again.
Homme produced the group's third album Humbug and Helders told BBC 6 Music that it was an experience the Sheffield band are keen to repeat as long as they can get hold of the prolific musician, who is also in rock band Them Crooked Vultures.
"When we're ready to record again, he might be as well, but you know what he's like, he's a very busy man and in demand," Helders said.
The Arctic Monkeys drummer explained that the band are keen to get back into the studio as it's the thing they enjoy most about being in a successful group.
Last year, Arctic Monkeys were named as the best new band of the last ten years by the Observer Music Monthly.
