Arctic Monkeys 'head to Hollywood to make new album'
Arctic Monkeys have moved to Hollywood as they work in the studio on completing their next album.
The indie band - who originally hail from Sheffield - have splashed out £30,000 to rent a mansion in the Hollywood Hills for the next two months as they get on with their recording sessions, reports the Sun.
An inside source said: "The pad is really amazing. After being in the studio all day it's the perfect place to come back to and relax and let their hair down."
However, some of their celebrity neighbours have asked the boys to make sure the peace of the area is not disturbed too much.
Frontman and electric guitar player Alex Turner has been busy on another project recently, writing the soundtrack to a new Ben Stiller comedy called Submarine.
He has put together five songs for the film, which is due out in the UK in March.
Turner and the rest of the Arctic Monkeys have just been confirmed as one of the headlining acts at July's Eurockeennes Festival, which will take place in Belfort, France.
Other acts who have been booked for the event so far include Arcade Fire, Motorhead and House of Pain.
