Arcade Fire set for UK arena tour
Indie band Arcade Fire have announced they will play a series of large arena shows around the UK later this year.
The electric guitar group are to play five dates this winter, with the first gig taking place at the O2 Arena in London on December 1st 2010, reports NME.
They will then go on to play Birmingham's LG Arena, the Cardiff International Arena and Manchester Central.
Arcade Fire's tour will draw to a close at the SECC in Glasgow on December 12th.
The group are currently at the top of the British album charts following the release of their latest record The Suburbs.
They are also headlining the Reading and Leeds festivals, which are taking place later this month (August 27th to 29th).
Also featuring at the dual-site event this year are reformed indie band The Libertines, electric guitar stars Guns N' Roses and Josh Homme's group Queens of the Stone Age.
