Appeal for missing violin
Stuart Graham was riding on the number 65 on his way back to Noranda from the Galleria shopping centre, when he forget to pick up his violin, In My Community reported.
The 17-year-old was so heartbroken it took him a month to pluck up the courage to tell his dad Greg, who had passed on the musical instrument to his son.
"It was bought for me by my mum, and it was intended to be a family heirloom," Greg told the news provider.
"I still play a little bit but I've passed it down to my son. He made a pretty big mistake in not telling me when it happened, but we really are desperate to get it back."
He added that the music instrument had sentimental value and there was a reward on offer for its safe return.
This month sees the sale of a 1783 Guadagnini violin used by renowned conductor Lorin Maazel.
