Antelope Audio's Orion 32 Plus Now Comes With Vintage Effects
These VST effects are powered by Antelope's proprietary field programmable gate array to give the effects that definitive vintage sound with the clarity and cutting edge of digital technology to make these plug-ins sound and feel like real studio hardware.
The update includes the VEQ-1A - a faithful replication of the legendary passive tube EQ that became the staple for professional studios across the globe. Alongside this, is the VMEQ-5 for extreme control of the mids in your mix and ideally suited to guitars that need that extra oomph and clarity.
Bass guitars are catered for too with the VEQ-55 to enhance the intricacies of your tone and bring the recording to life. The real icing on the cake is the BAE 1073 - a VST effect with an analog punch that to replicate the EQ which was used on just about every record in the 70s and 80s. This particular channel module can handle everything from classical, pop, hip-hop and rock music. According to Antelope, the "latest update will breathe a new life to Orion32 ....Once updated, your device will not only give you access to a growing and exclusive set of hardware-quality effects, but will extend your device functionality.
The Orion32 is now controllable from several computers in the same network. This gives great freedom when working in multiple-room studios and during complex sessions. The Orion32 software is now also fully resizable and with detachable panels – something all our users have been excited about."
