Angus Young to walk down memory lane
Posted on 29 Jun 2009 13:35 to category : Band / Celebrity News
Electric guitar legend Angus Young is to revisit his old stomping grounds before his band performs a gig in his home city this week.

However, he has stated that he plans to look round his old housing estate before he goes on stage.
Young, who moved to Australia at the age of eight, said he believes his Scottish heritage is one of the factors behind AC/DC's success.
"We had a kind of doggedness and determination," he told the Sunday Mail.
"We kept at it and never let go of what we wanted to achieve."
Young added that he finds playing live one of the most satisfying parts of his job, as he loves seeing the songs "come alive" on stage.
The band's Scottish heritage was perhaps most obvious on AC/DC's 1975 hit Long Way To The Top (If You Wanna Rock 'n' Roll) - which fuses the traditional rock instruments of electric guitar, bass guitar and drum kit with the sound of bagpipes.
