Andrew Sheridan 'enjoying being able to play guitar again'
England rugby star Andrew Sheridan is back playing his guitar again after recovering from an injury that left him too weak to play the musical instrument.
Sheridan needed to go through 12 months of rehab after dislocating his shoulder badly last October, reports the Daily Star.
But he has not only battled his way back into contention to play for England, as Sheridan has managed to release an album's worth of songs on iTunes.
"I couldn't play the guitar when I started rehab, I didn't have the strength to even strum the strings," the star explained.
"Now I'm back to where I was before, I'm lifting 60 kilo dumbbells now."
Sheridan played for the national side at the weekend, earning his 33rd international cap as England suffered a narrow 16-26 defeat at the hands of New Zealand in front of their fans at Twickenham.
The loose-head prop plays his club rugby for Sale Sharks.
