Alice Cooper jams with Johnny Depp
Alice Cooper fans got the surprise of their life when the legendary rocker announced that he would be joined on stage by a special guest – a "Johnny D from Kentucky".
Needless to say when the actor Johnny Depp took to the stage the crowd went wild.
Picking up an electric guitar, the movie star played along with Cooper on the song I'm Eighteen, on a mash-up of the classic School's Out and on Pink Floyd's The Wall.
Cooper said: "I think we could use another guitar player, right? Johnny, this whole movie thing ... If it doesn't pan out, join us, okay?"
It looks like this is the start of a new working partnership between the two artists who first met on the set of the horror movie Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare in 1984.
Both men will be appearing together in Tim Burton's Dark Shadows, which is due for release in May 2012.
Depp is no stranger to the music business. The multitalented actor used to be part of the super group P, which included Flea from the Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Steve Jones from the Sex Pistols.
