Alexis Jordan wants to work with Tinie Tempah
Alexis Jordan wants to duet with Tinie Tempah.
The 19-year-old US singer is a huge fan of the 'Written in the Stars' rapper and admitted she was also impressed with his "gentlemanly" behaviour when they recently met.
She said: "I love Tinie Tempah, his music is so awesome. I love the way he does dance music, but then his rapping is also awesome. I met him recently and he was a gentleman.
"So was Chipmunk actually, I was surprised by that because his music is so hardcore!"
Tinie and Chipmunk are not the only British artists Alexis is a huge fan of, as she would also love to work with dubstep singer Katy B.
She said: "I think Katy B is amazing, she's really talented. I love Adele and Professor Green too, there are so many different variations in musical style here in the UK, so it's difficult to choose just one."
While Alexis doesn't want to emulate any other female artist she has admitted she would love to have the longevity of Mariah Carey's career.
She added: "The artist whose career everyone would want is Mariah Carey because she's been on the top of her game since she was my age until now, which is really amazing."Posted on 19 Apr 2011 08:30 to category : Music News
