Alex Ferguson 'wants to learn piano'
Posted on 1 Jun 2010 17:00 to category : Instruments News

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson is trying to learn how to play the piano, it has been reported.
A club insider told the Daily Star that Sir Alex has been aiming to teach himself how to play since his wife bought him a piano as a Christmas present two years ago.
However, the source said he does not have enough patience or time in the day to learn to play as well as he would like.
As a result, Sir Alex is looking for a tutor who can give him proper lessons.
"He wants to be Elton John before he can walk," the insider commented.
However, the source added that Sir Alex is having problems finding a suitable tutor, because he cannot commit to definite times for lessons.
The insider also suggested that some piano teachers are wary of taking on the job because they are afraid of being given the infamous "hairdryer" treatment by the football manager.
Sir Alex Ferguson led Manchester United to second in the Premier League last season, narrowly missing out on securing four consecutive league titles in the process.
