Akai's LPK25 and LPD8 are currently available at a heavily reduced price, offering buyers two state-of-the-art wireless MIDI controllers at incredible value.

Both of the controllers are compact in their composition and act as a transport-friendly alternative to many of their larger counterparts. Designed with the ever transient musician in mind, the Akai L Series are able to comfortably fit into almost any laptop case or backpack. Both featuring an innovative on-board bluetooth compatibility, you can seamlessly operate in an environment that isn't restricted by the limitations of cables and complicated and often convoluted set-ups.

The LPK25 Wireless MIDI Controller features a 25-note velocity-sensitive keybed which is then accompanied by two individual octave up/down buttons designed to extend your playing capabilities across a wide harmonic spectrum. Velocity-sensitive keys elicit a realistic and authentic playing experience that faithfully emulates the feel and expression of an acoustic piano. Interchangeable between melodies, rhythms and chord progressions, the LPK25 is well versed in a variety of musical scenarios and is able to adapt to almost any plug-in thrown its way.

The LPK25's customisable controls are but one of the controller's many advantageous and functional features. You can recall any of your favourite settings (including arpeggiation type, range tempo etc.) thanks to 4 on-board programmable memory banks. Able to appropriate itself to a number of different devices, the need to laboriously download the necessary drivers is rendered obsolete. Able to operate seamlessly with almost any DAW, you are guaranteed an exceptionally connectivity that isn't diminished by dropouts or any other such inteference.

The LPD8, whilst geared towards percussive instrumentation, is able to elicit a nuanced and responsive sound that reacts to your own touch. Adept in both live performance environments and musical composition based scenarios, the LPD8 's 8 encoder Q-Link style controls allow for added effects to be accessed mid-performance. Other controls such as Full-Level, Customisable Note-Repeat and Tap Tempo functions give you the room for dynamic depth and a distinguished feel to your performance.

Much like its cousin the LP2K5, the LPD8 offers on-board programmable memory bank that enables a an instantaneous recall of your favourite controller configurations at the drop of a hat. With the pad assignment capability (as well as CC numbers and program change numbers)
