Adele writing new album on piano
Posted on 8 Oct 2009 13:00 to category : Band / Celebrity News

An acoustic guitar may be many people's favourite songwriting accessory, but Grammy Award-winning singer Adele has been forced to seek an alternative.
The 21-year-old star, whose hits include Chasing Pavements and Cold Shoulder, said the sound of a guitar tends to scare her dog.
Speaking to the Sun, she revealed that this has prompted her to change tack and write on a different instrument instead.
"I'm working on my new album, but almost exclusively on piano," Adele commented.
"The dog doesn't like guitar - he gets scared and I don't want to upset him."
Meanwhile, Adele has told BBC News that she is not being rushed into delivering her next album and is writing it "slowly but surely".
She said that a writer tends to deliver better results if they are allowed to take their time on an album.
However, she admitted that she is slightly wary of changing her sound too much for fear of alienating her fans.
