Acoustic guitarist raises £2,000 for charity
Posted on 23 Aug 2010 19:30 to category : Band / Celebrity News

An acoustic guitar player has offered himself at an auction in order to raise money for charity.
Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly raised £2,000 by making the generous decision to give a fan the chance to buy an intimate performance in their own home, reports XFM.
A fan in Worcester was the victor, which means Sam Duckworth will be taking his acoustic guitar to their residence to play a special show.
The money raised from Duckworth's charity auction will go towards the relief efforts in flood-hit Pakistan, where millions of people have seen their homes destroyed.
Duckworth commented: "A higher than usual monsoon season in Pakistan has caused flooding to ravage this beautiful country. Let's hope we can raise a lot of money to help this nation in times of desperate need."
He has released two albums under the name Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly - The Chronicles of a Bohemian Teenager and Searching for the Hows and Whys, with a third, self-titled record to come in September 2010.
