Posted on 3 Feb 2012 16:15 to category : Instruments News

The show sees Clive Carroll, whose first ever instrument as a child was a banjo, performing 1,000 years of music on guitar.
What this exactly entails is anyone's guess but the locals are excited to have such a star entertain them with his dazzling skills.
"Clive is an outstanding and captivating finger-style performer," promoter Margaret Grieve told Gainsborough Target.
"He is described by Acoustic Guitar magazine as the best and most original young acoustic guitar player and composer in Britain."
She added that as a virtuoso player he possesses an exceptional understanding of the instrument and its historical importance.
Carroll is currently working on his next studio album, confirming that the track A Winter Carroll will feature on the record.
He revealed that he has being exceptionally creative, using orchestral techniques to arrange pieces of music.
The Guardian described his album Life in Colours as "remarkable for its sheer bravery and variety".
