A man has made a guitar inspired by the Star Wars films.
Brian Fisk, a musician, decided to develop and design a completely new electric guitar based on Han Solo's much-loved spaceship because he simply wanted to make something awesome.
Although he had no previous experience of crafting instruments, the intrepid Mr Fisk nevertheless managed to craft the body of the electric guitar to resemble the Millennium Falcon.
He then went one step further and added an R2-D2 headstock, which adds balance to the Star Wars design. Despite the substantial modifications, the guitar plays very well.
"It's kind of blown up: It gets about 10,000 views a day," Mr Fisk told the Southeast Missourian.
"When I put it on there I just put it online for fun. I had no idea that many people would look at it."
Mr Fisk, who also teaches youngsters how to play the guitar, added that it took him around three months to make the instrument.Posted on 21 Feb 2012 12:55 to category : Instruments News
