30 Seconds To Mars plan new album
Front man Jared Leto told Radio 1's Zane Lowe that the follow-up to 2009's This Is War will be "stronger, better and more evolved" and said that sessions for the new record have been recorded all over the world.
Leto revealed that the band has travelled to Asia, Europe and the US to lay down tracks for the yet unnamed album that is due to be brought out in 2013. He added that the record is a "complete transformation for us".
The front man also explained that he believes that the 2013 effort is one of the best albums the band has ever made, which will no doubt be whetting the appetite of fans all across the world.
Earlier in the week, 30 Seconds To Mars were announced to play next year's Download Festival alongside rock heavyweights such as Queen's of the Stone Age, Iron Maiden, Slipknot and Rammstein.
There is no word on a confirmed release date for the 2013 record so fans will have to wait a little longer before hearing new material.
