The flute’s shape has been carefully refined to offer the most comfortable playability, especially for younger musicians. The standard C tuning is universally played an renowned for being the flute tuning to to develop your skills with. The modified stop post under the D# and in line G key are included to assist in making the playability more natural. The consistent build quality means the flute is always producing a reliable sound whilst being easy to use.


William Teasdale Armstrong is a highly respected craftsman who founded his first repair shop in 1931. Word soon got around of his skills and commitment to quality, soon after he was asked to manufacture whole instruments for professional musicians. That was when the legendary Armstrong was born.

Everything You Need

The FL650RI comes with a wooden case and cover to keep your instrument at its newest condition for longer, by keeping it free from damage during transport to and from rehearsals and concerts. To maintain your flute Armstrong have also included a cleaning rod and cleaning cloth. With everything you need included you can play straight out of the box.
