Manley TNT, 2 Channel Mic Preamplifier

The Manley TNT, 2 Channel Mic Preamplifier is a dual channel mic preamp which utilises the exact same highly acclaimed vacuum tube microphone preamplifier from the Manley SLAM! The other, "NT" (No Tubes) channel consists of a solid-state preamp which allows the TNT to set new sonic standards. These separate channels allow you to access the perfect audio for your chosen style. The Variable Output Transformer Bypass Switch allows you to dictate the level of effect from the output transformer. The result of the Manley TNT provides audio which sounds great even without extensive editing.

Two Channel Design

The Manley TNT, 2 Channel Mic Preamplifier makes use of separate channels so that you can get the best audio for your chosen instruments. The tube channel creates a classical element in your audio and it is ideal for use with instruments including bright guitars, woodwind and brass, cymbals, and certain vocals. The "No Tubes" channel is more suited to smoother vocals, drums, bass, and raunchy guitars.

Transformer Bypass Switch

The Manley TNT features Variable Output Transformer Bypass control in the form of a rotary knob so that you can dial in the amount of "Iron" to your desire. Turning the knob anticlockwise will result in a reduced effect of the transformer (anti-iron), and of course turning clockwise can exaggerate the effect of the transformer to almost triple. The TNT also boasts Switchable Overdrive Effects including "Clean," "'60s," and "'70s," so that you can produced your preferred style of audio, even without editing.
