The Saffire Pro 40 provides exceptional audio fidelity thanks to the premium-grade Ad/DA converters and JetPLL jitter reduction technology. Primarily the Pro 40 Audio Interface functions as a Firewire device but it can also can become fully compatible with Thunderbolt by using a simple FireWire to Thunderbolt adapter for added versatility.
In total, the interface includes eight award-winning preamps, developed by Focusrite for unparalleled preamp performance. These premium-grade preamps ensure the Saffire Pro 40 is one of the best sounding interfaces in its class.
