The XM8500 has a cardioid pickup pattern which captures the source signal while shunning off-axis sound, for a clean tone with little ambient noise. The two-stage pop filter minimises breath and pop noises, for better quality vocals.

The microphone boasts an ultra-wide frequency response of 50Hz to 15kHz, for brilliant and transparent sound, and a smooth mid-frequency presence rise which gives excellent voice projection. It also has an extremely high signal output to let your voice cut through.

The XM8500 has a tough metal construction and a sturdy steel windscreen, to ensure it will survive countless gigs and studio applications. A hard carrying case and microphone stand adapter are included.
