Ashdown Freebass Wireless Bass System - FreeBASS is the first UHF diversity wireless system designed and engineered specifically for bass guitar and bass amps. The pack includes both the reciever and a transmitter so you can be ready to go straight away!
Unlike conventional wireless systems, FreeBASS overcomes the difficulty of reproducing faithfully the low frequencies and high dynamics typical of a bass guitar signal over a wireless link. The result is a system that allows bassists the same freedom on stage that guitar players and vocalists have enjoyed for some time, without having to compromise on tone.
Another unique feature is a Modeling control on the receiver that selects between 16 DSP-enhanced bass settings, adding sonic versatility to an already outstanding bass wireless system.
Both the receiver and transmitter feature large, backlit displays and an intuitive menu system for controlling functions including frequency selection, sensitivity and muting. The rear panel of the receiver provides an unbalanced jack output for connection to a bass amplifier, and a balanced XLR output for direct connection to a PA system
