Yamaha Arius YDP-181 Digital Piano, Dark Rosewood

Using Advanced Wave Memory audio sampling, the YDP-181 digital piano accurately captures the sound of a Yamaha Full Concert Grand Piano by recording 3 levels of dynamic stereo sampling. This allows for a true natural sound.

The Grade Hammer Standard keyboard provides the authentic acoustic piano feel, the lower keys have a heavier feel than the lighter, softer-touch higher keys. There's also a focus on the change in timbre due to the strength or weakness of the key strike that is so characteristic of pianos, making the playing experience even more realistic.

The YDP-181 has three mounted pedals, including the damper, the soft pedal, and sostenuto. The damper pedal offers a half-pedal response and can handle micro-adjustments to pressure. The Yamaha volume control knob allows for particularly detailed adjustment at low volume levels, allowing you to set the optimum sound, perfect for practicing at home where playing at high volume may not be possible.

50 songs are preset into the YDP181, providing classic piano pieces for play-along or practice sessions. It also features a 2-track song recorder to create your own music and record your performances.To play along with your own recording, use the built-in performance memory which allows you to even change the tempo or voice of your piece. USB flash memory compatibility allows for data to be recorded, stored, and transferred to a PC. Yamaha's free Music Software Downloader lets you download music data and transfer it to the digital piano's built-in memory.

Courier Delivery

When you add this product to your shopping basket, you will be provided with our standard courier delivery option free of charge, which is a 'to your door' service. You may need to help the delivery driver as this product comes packaged in large boxes!

This option may not be suitable if you are unable to help the driver if required, or if you need the piano delivering upstairs but you don't have anyone else available to help. Please consider whether this is the most appropriate delivery service for you, as other delivery options are also available for an additional cost.

2 Man Delivery Service

If you select this option two delivery personnel will deliver the piano boxes to any room you wish, including flats and will deliver into any room accessible via a regular staircase or suitable lift - you will not need to help them.
