The Yamaha LJX6C acoustic guitar features choice materials and Yamahas unique ability to blend traditional skills with advanced manufacturing techniques delivering an instrument of exceptional quality at a price that s hard to beat. With exquisite construction and cosmetics, the Jumbo style LJX6C has a tight waist and a deeper body, the LJ shape is perfect for the modern player offering strong mid-range and a controlled yet assertive tone. The Venetian cutaway offers access to the upper frets while adding beauty. The Jumbo/auditorium-sized LJX6C electro acoustic guitar has an even-grained solid Engelmann spruce top, rich, dark laminated rosewood back and sides, 3-ply ebony fingerboard and non-scalloped X-bracing design delivering tone that is thick and well focused. The preamp is Yamaha s monaural two-way System45 type. Two-way because there is a piezo pickup under the bridge and a condenser microphone inside the body, mounted on a gooseneck so you can reach into the sound-hole to adjust its angle. A rubber sound-hole cover is provided to prevent feedback when you employ the condenser at full gain. The preamp includes controls for volume, microphone level, bass, mid and treble, with a sliding mid-band control (80Hz to 10kHz). A phase switch for the microphone is also provided, and a small LED acts as the battery power indicator. Includes a fitting Semi-hard case.
