— The CPX500 makes the CPX range available at an all new pricepoint. With a spruce top and Nato back and sides this guitar projects a warm and full sound while the larger body size of the CPX range offers a bigger, fuller sound than the smaller bodied APX guitars.More Details:
The CPX500 places emphasis on playability, tone and affordability. The CPX500 is fitted with a piezo pickup and the System 55T preamp to provide accurate, controllable acoustic tone when amplified. The System 55T is fitted with an onboard tuner for convenient tuning.
Pickup Systems:
Controls for the under bridge mounted piezo pickup are mounted on the instrument's side for optimum access. The battery compartment is also located on the side, close to the neck, to provide easy replacement.
Preamp Systems:
This is a tuner-equipped version of System55. The chromatic tuner is accurate, easy to use and easy to view. You can use the tuning mode by pressing a single button even if you have no cable connected. Turning the tuner on or off will not affect the output in any way. The tuner also comes with a one-minute auto-off timer to save battery power.
