About Warwick Rockbass
Warwick Rockbass is a budget branch of the much respected Warwick brand that produces affordable versions of Warwick instruments, creating copies using less exotic materials. Although they are made from more affordable materials, Warwick Rockbass produce high quality instruments ideal for musicians with a tighter budget that still desire quality.
The Warwick Rockbass Corvette Bass is made from an Alder body and Maple neck with ekanga veneer stripes making it lightweight, and allowing for a more comfortable and smooth play. This medium scale bass is slightly shorter than standard models, and offers a 32" scale length, rather than 34"scale. With its shorter length, you still get the full amount of frets and the full range of the instrument.
Cutaway Neck Construction
The Corvette Basic Bass is manufactured with a bolt-on neck, with four bolts. Unlike other basses, the Corvette's ergonomic cutaway neck construction allows easier access to the higher frets, and ultimately improving your playing style.
Moving on the to the headstock, the Corvette features a classic Warwick logo, along with ergonomic angled tuners for quick and easy adjustments. Another great feature is the Tedor Just-A-Nut III, which enables you to easily raise and lower the string height at the nut with an Allen key, for the ultimate comfortable playing style.
With its active MEC J/J pickups and active 2-way electronics the Rockbass Corvette Basic produces a low end growl whilst offering a clear and resonating treble perfect for playing a wide selection of music. These active J/J configured pickups allow more control over the basses tone and produces a higher output so you can add more power to your amp. The setup offers great clarity when playing any genre of music, little sound variation between playing styles and reduces any unwanted noise and feedback.
Innovative SaddleThe Warwick Rockbass Corvette comes equipped with a two-piece 3D bridge system that can be adjusted on four different points for the perfect intonation. These points include raised, lowered, moved forwards and backwards for intonation settings, and you can even adjust the string-to-string spacing by sliding the saddles up and down. The design of this bridge offers great vibration and sustain, for the ultimate play.
With all these great functions, the Rockbass 4-String Corvette Basic Bass is perfect for aspiring bassists looking for a bass with the capability to play a wide selection of music and playing styles.
