Swamp Ash Body, Quilted Maple Top
Nikki Stringfield’s A-6 guitar has a body constructed from high quality Swamp Ash, making it lightweight, and resonant. The Swamp Ash creates an airy, twang tone that’s pleasantly sweet, offering firm lows, pleasing highs, slightly scooped mids, and an excellent amount of sustain. The Swamp Ash is giving a unique look and topped with Quilted Maple, to create a visually stunning guitar. Also featuring carbon fiber binding, chrome hardware, and a Floyd Rose bridge, the Schecter is given a bright red burst finish that shows of the natural figuring of the Maple top.
Maple Neck, Ebony Fingerboard
A Maple neck gives the guitars tone some tightness and cut, providing an edge of sizzle to the highs and firmness to its lows. The Maple wood provides bright characteristics to the overall tone, whilst offering a snappy attack in the midrange. An Ebony Fingerboard delivers a balanced tone, offering a very responsive, bright attack with a smooth sustain. The natural feel of the Ebony provides a smooth feel, perfect for guitarists who enjoy playing fast. The guitar also comes with many other features including Grover machine heads, 24 X-jumbo frets, a Floyd Rose locking nut, and an abalone ‘vine of life’ inlay across the fretboard with a ‘hells gate skull at the 12th fret.
Seymour Duncan and Sustainiac Pickups
The Schecter guitar features a Seymour Duncan invader humbucker and a Sustainiac pickup, producing meaty, aggressive tones with incredible amounts of sustain. The Invader humbucker uses specially overwound coils with three large ceramic magnets to produce an unbelievably powerful tone. The humbucker is designed with oversized pole pieces to produce a large magnet field, this allows each string to sound rich when played, creating a deep thick tone with an incredible low end. The Sustainiac pickup can create a wide range of tonal options, with an incredible amounts of sustain that can be shaped to suit your playing style. A 3-way switch can be used to selecting different types of modes for the Sustainiac pickup, providing more control and tonal options.
Floyd Rose Locking Tremolo
Floyd Rose are one of the leading manufacturers of guitar bridges, using top of the range design techniques to craft outstanding quality parts. With a design that has stood strong for over 30 years, the Floyd Rose 1500 series allows you to adjust the string tension and pitch to create unique sounds such as dive bombs. The bridge works in tangent with the locking nut for increase string stability and prevents the strings from detune after excessive bending.
