With a dynamic range as wide as that of a bass tube amp, the Hooker's Green Bassmachine is able to pick up all of the subtle expressions and nuances of your playing. The Treble control has a deliberately limited range - while the core bass tone can be shaped using the EQ present on an amp or mixing desk, the Bassmachine's control offers a much-needed delicate adjustment, enabling you to fine-tune the sound beyond what is possible with amp EQ.

When used with an electric guitar, the pedal is able to produce a wide range of overdrive and distortion tones to suit a variety of genres. Due to its nature as a bass overdrive pedal, the Bassmachine is most effective with lower frequency instruments, making it ideal for use with downtuned or 7+ string guitars.
