Contained within the MG15FXMSDM is a vast stockpile of analogue Marshall tones, caged in a massive arsenal of four unique channels. Clean, Crunch, OD1 and OD2 are the channels in question and are all accessible through either the front panel or the revolutionary MG Footcontroller (sold separately). The Megastack also packs an incredible array of custom-voiced and totally adjustable digital FX - Chorus, Phaser, Flanger and Delay - all loaded into just one front panel control. Each effect is gradually adjusted as the control turns through its section, making it possible to create the exact effect you want at the mere turn of a dial. You can precisely dictate the length of the Delay by using the trusty Tap button. Simply pushing this button twice to your desired 'echo timing' will set the required tempo. Separate to these key effects is a standalone Reverb control, perfect for adding space and depth to your tone.

Straight out of the box you'll find that each channel has been programmed by Dave and producer Andy Sneap to deliver four awesome Mustaine tones - Clean Absolution, Symphony Chorus, New Wave of British Heavy Metal and Holy Solo. Each channel is, of course, completely adaptable just like a normal amplifier but here's where the MG Series obliterates the competition - all that analogue tone and all your settings can be programmed directly to that channel's memory. Immediate recall of your favourite Marshall/Mustaine sounds and FX just got a whole lot simpler, especially when using the optional Stompware™ enabled MG Footcontroller.

Silent Running:

If the idea of jamming along with your favourite MP3, CD or the metal maestro himself appeals to you, then the MP3 / Line In input is a real bonus. Simply connect the Line Out or Headphone socket of your music player here, adjusting its volume accordingly. Combine this with the use of headphones, which automatically mutes the speaker cabs, and you have a stealthy way to hone those killer riffs before full live deployment!

Body Armour:

Created in the same guise as the mighty 1960DM Dave Mustaine signature cabinets, the Megastack's robust construction is wrapped in carbon-fibre-effect vinyl with diamond-stamped kick grilles shielding the two 1 x 10" speaker cabs. Impact-resistant corner guards further protect the Megastack from accidental damage.
