Spider Valve MkII HD100 100-watt guitar amp head is the result of a ground-breaking collaborative effort between living-legend amp designer Reinhold Bogner and renowned amp-modeling upstarts Line 6. On the heels of its celebrated predecessor, the original Spider Valve HD100 combo, Spider Valve MkII HD100 offers the best of both worlds: brawny, boutique-style tube tone and the latest, most advanced Line 6 amp modeling with complete flexibility and deep editing.
Build your sound from the ground up with 16 of the most advanced Line 6 amp models. Each one was inspired by a celebrated American, British and European head or combo. Get sparkling clean tones, syrupy smooth drive tones, high-gain onslaughts, mid-range tones on the verge of breakup, and more with the tonal nuances of the modeled originals.
Start smart and dive deep with the unprecedented control of Line 6 Smart FX. 20 brilliant effects deliver unprecedented color, adjustability and routing options. The signal from the Line 6 front-end flows into the Bogner-designed 12AX7 preamp and 6L6 power amp to produce creamy, cascading distortions and enriched tube harmonics.
Spider Valve MkII HD100 is poised to become the workhorse amp for all kinds of pro players with its MIDI in/out, 128 user presets and two distinct output modes: Performance Mode lets you send a signal, which provides the interaction of the tube and modeling, via the XLR out to the front-of-house engineer; Studio Mode bypasses the tubes to send modeling only.
Add a Line 6 FBV Shortboard MkII foot controller (Sold Separately) to Spider Valve MkII HD100 and get out-of-the-box Volume/Wah, Pitch Glide, preset control, Quick Loop control, and more.
Spider Valve MkII HD100 pairs perfectly with optional 412VS closed-back cabinets. The slanted or straight cabs are stocked with four 12-inch Celestion® Vintatge 30 speakers to produce superior tone of the highest definition.
