More details:
Although it goes without saying that having the right tool for the job won?t necessarily guarantee success, it can definitely help move the odds in your favor. Ibanez are synonymous with many technological advancements when it comes to electric guitars.
Over the past 30 years, Ibanez have always been at the forefront of developing the right tools for players pushing the boundaries of music. For decades, Ibanez designers and luthiers have been the embodiment of this ideology, pushing their skills to the edge of imagination, consistently creating some of the most dynamic instruments ever.
Dimarzio Evolution Pickups
The Evolution Neck and Bridge humbuckers are the result of years of research to come up with the right sound for a very demanding player: Steve Vai and the Ibanez Jem555. Both pickups are designed for maximum impact and power. The neck pickup is fat, punchy and loud. The bridge pickup is tight, aggressive and louder. Both pickups have Dimarzio's patented dual-resonance configuration to reproduce more harmonic overtones than conventional humbuckers. The Evolution pickups were originally designed with live gigs in mind, but they have so much presence and definition that they're great recording pickups, too; they slice right through even the densest mix.
Edge lll Tremolo
Ibanez has long been admired for the Edge tremolo, and the Edge III embodies all of the classic function of the original Edge with some modern updates. It features lower profile fine-tuners, much like the Lo-PRO Edge. There are also two screws in the arm pocket for easy adjustment of the arm height and torque.
