— The Ibanez GART 60 electric guitar is a GIO ART model newly released for 2010. The body uses Basswood and is nicely contoured for playing comfort with an arched top, the bolt-on neck is made from a single piece of Maple ably complimented by a Rosewood fretboard hosting 22 medium jumbo frets that use inlaid dot fret markers.More details:
Sound comes courtesy of an STDH-1 and STDH-2 humbucker pick-ups that are managed via 2 rotary volume knobs and a single master tone control, there's also a 3-way toggle switch pick-up selector that is located just below the rotary controls, and not on the shoulder of the guitar as is normally the case with this style of single cut-away model.
The Ibanez GART 60 uses a Full Tune III bridge with a standard Stop bar tail piece both of which have been chrome plated, Ibanez deploy their own high quality machine heads configured as 3 on each side of the headstock. The control knobs and machine heads are also chrome plated to match the bridge and to contrast with the immaculately applied Black Knight gloss finish.
