Fast-forward to the 70s and 80s, and the revived Gibson Explorer quickly re-established itself as one of the most iconic electric guitars of the rock and metal scenes.More Details:
To this day the Explorer is still highly regarded by heavier players throughout the rock and metal scenes, it's been seen played on stages the world over by the likes of Kiss's Paul Stanley, Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl , U2's The Edge and recently in the animated hands of Dethklok on the Metalocalypse series.
