ESP began in Tokyo, 1975, under the name of Electric Sound Products. Originally providing high-end replacement parts and custom components for electric guitars, they began manufacturing custom-built ESP guitars in the early eighties after gaining attention from Metal artists - particularly George Lynch of Dokken and Lynch Mob fame. Today, ESP produce a wide variety of guitar shapes that are know for their fast-playing necks and high-output pickups. |
