The heart of the black nickel sensitone is its precision-formed brass shell, plated in lustrous black nickel, with centre bead for strength and enhanced high-frequency projection. Chrome tube lugs complement the beauty of the shell and allow unrestricted vibration for superb resonance and tone. The 'ball-end' of the lugs are chrome plated with contrasting chrome-plated tubes.
