Forum standard features include low-mass lugs for optimum tonality and resonance, low-mass tom mounting brackets for maximum sound optimisation, heavy-duty SP-70 spurs for stability and key style tension rods for precise tuning on bass drums. The two-section B-70W boom stand folds compactly for transport and the direct pull action on H-72W hi-hat stand assures super quick and smooth action.

The 100 Poplar Forum shells feature Pearl's exclusive scarf joint (gapless seam) construction for uniform shell vibration, unimpeded air pockets and a warmth and richness found only in more expensive drums.

As with all Pearl drums each shell is formed from our legendary SST construction process that uses extreme heat, precision cut scarf joints, Pearl's proprietary Acoustiglue and over 1000lbs of hydraulic pressure to create the ultimate acoustic air chamber.

Forum Series Snare Drums

The 14"x 5.5" snare drum features a 100 poplar shell for unparalleled sonic performance in its class.

Forum hardware packs include a S-70W snare stand, B-70W boom stand and H-72W hi-hat stand, all of which feature sturdy double braced legs. The H-72W hi-hat features an Eliminator style footbaord and UltraGrip wingnuts/wingbolts. The P-120P pedal features chain drive, Eliminator style footboard, DuoBeat beater that allows the choice of plastic or felt faces for hard or soft attack and adjustable beater angle. The bonus D-70W throne features double braced legs and infinitely adjustable height settings with stop-lock memory.
